Seven years ago my business partner and I were putting together our first motorcycle movie "Choppertown: the Sinners" with a stack of credit cards and a dream.  We borrowed an XL1, bought a Mac, Scotty taught himself how to shoot and I learned how to edit.  When the film was finished ten months later we decided to release it ourselves.  As I was authoring the DVD Scotty was teaching himself Photoshop while designing the key art.  He had this idea to make it look like a shop manual you might find in a crusty old garage and when he discovered this "cool" site called deviantART it had all these amazing skins and graphical elements on it that could be licensed directly from the artists that uploaded the art.  Needless to say, he found the background image he was looking for.

Seven years and six films later, it seems like another life... now I find myself coming full circle with some nicks and scratches, and a few war stories from the indie film trenches.  After five bike films, last year we entered into the paranormal arena with our Ouija movie "I Am ZoZo" shot entirely on Super 8mm, and LiveSciFi.tv an interactive live streaming ghost hunting show.

If anyone has questions about filmmaking, production, distribution, film marketing on the net, or what's it's like trying to survive as an indie in H'wood amongst the corporate congloms, please don't hesitate to use me as a resource.  Well I'm gonna get back to hunting around dA, it's been a while and seems like things have a grown a bit...
